Flurer Smokery is a private Aboriginal owned and operated facility that is federally registered, HACCP certified and registered with the USFDA. The facility is 8,000 square feet and processes wild or farmed salmon, halibut, black cod, white sturgeon, tuna, oysters, mussels, prawns, and more.

The company is committed to supplying its customers with the finest quality fresh and ready to eat products at competitive prices through a staff committed to excellence. Their product is chemical, dye and preservative free with even the salt content regulated per style of cut. What more can be said other than it is truly delicious.

Community Futures Strathcona is a valuable asset to the community. The programs and staff have been a great support for the start-up and years that have followed for Flurer Smokery with advice and financing.
