One of the keys to the success of Community Futures Strathcona is its independent Board of Directors. Our Directors are volunteers, generally from the business community, that dedicate their time and energy to the commitment of supporting entrepreneurial activity.

Rebecca Domovitch, Vice-Chair – Campbell River & Region
Rebecca is an associate lawyer at Shook Wickham Bishop and Field (CR Lawyers), a full-service law firm in Campbell River.

Carly Pisterzi, Director – Campbell River & Region
Carly is the CEO and co-owner of Island Ready-Mix, a concrete and aggregate supply company serving the North Island.

Ben Lanyon, Secretary/Treasurer – Campbell River & Region
Ben is a partner with Roset Lanyon, a Certified Professional Accounting firm that specializes in tax and consulting for closely held businesses and incorporated professionals.

Maureen Fritz-Roberts, LAC – Comox Valley & Region
Mo is the practice manager of Old House Law & Notary Public, an office that focuses on real estate and financial contracts, business incorporation and estate planning. Prior to this Mo was a partner at two insurance agencies.

Arnold Harasymchuk, Director – Comox Valley & Region
Arnold is a partner in BMC Business Management Consultants Ltd. Prior to retirement, he worked 27 years in economic development at various positions in all three levels of government. Prior to government, he worked 15 years in banking.

Gregory Batt, Chair – Campbell River & Region
Greg is the owner and operator of Ledgers; an accounting and bookkeeping company that assists small businesses with payroll, taxes, business plans and incorporation.

Mike McLaughlin, LAC – Comox Valley & Region
Before retiring, Mike was the owner, builder and manager of both the Cannery Seafood Restaurant (Vancouver) and The Old House Restaurant (Courtenay). He has also been the director for the Comox Valley Chamber of Commerce and Comox Valley Tourism in addition to managing the Hospitality Program for Grant Thornton.

Holly Grant, LAC – Comox Valley & Region
Holly is the owner of Eastridge Enterprises Ltd, an investment holding company. For 17 years Holly and her husband Tom, owned and operated a flooring and window covering business in the Comox Valley before selling to new owners. Holly is an active member and Past President of the Rotary Club of Comox.

Bridget Orsetti, Director – Comox Valley & Region
Bridget is on the management team at Spirit Bear Lodge, an Indigenous owned lodge located in Klemtu BC. She previously owned and operated 2 local businesses for 12 years.

Chris McPhedran, Director – Comox Valley & Region
Chris is a CPA and runs his own accounting / business consulting practice that focuses primarily in the natural resource and First Nation sectors.
